Seated Mobility
Structured routines and stretches to improve strength, balance and co-ordination alongside creative explorations for expression and movement development, sessions will help reaction times and co-ordination while increasing flexibility and spatial awareness. Simple moves and fun routines are danced to a range of popular, classical and world music.

Falls Prevention
Improving strength, balance, co-ordination can help to reduce the likelihood of falls. Exercises are based on proven physiotherapy methods but ‘hidden’ in dance moves so the focus is on expression and enjoyment rather than any underlying problem. Research shows this is an effective way to increase motivation.

The moves may be performed seated, supported or standing and participants are encouraged to progress at their own pace, listening to their bodies and gently improving strength, balance, flexibility and co-ordination.  Inspiring music and fun dance moves make an enjoyable class which motivates and encourages.
